These companies are part of the European Union’s (EU) initiative “Pure Flour from Europe: Organic and Sustainable Choices!”. It aims to promote organic food made in member countries.
The Italian Millers Association (ITALMOPA) is leading the initiative in partnership with the European Commission.
ITALMOPA is the EU Industrial Flour Association, representing 82 flour mills across Italy and 4 companies that produce soft and durum wheat for a variety of baked goods. The company’s “Pure Flour from Europe” campaign covers the US and Canadian markets and will run until 2024.
Flour companies such as Molina Casillo, Molina Grassi and Molino De Vita introduce organic products to retailers, manufacturers and restaurant buyers. Products include organic soft flour and organic durum wheat semolina.
