Back to Nature hires new leader

Parma, Italy — Jennifer Jorgensen has been appointed President and CEO of the Back to Nature brand. The brand was acquired by the Barilla Group from B&G Foods, Inc. earlier this month.

Jorgensen joins Back to Nature from General Mills, Inc., where he has worked for the past 28 years. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager of Cereal. Other positions at General Mills include Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer for Häagen-Dazs, Marketing Director and General Manager for the Small Planet Foods Division, Senior Brand Manager for Pillsbury Cookies, Senior Brand Manager for Convenience Stores, and others. includes various marketing and finance of role. Prior to joining General Mills, she was a Senior Associate at Deloitte for three years.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College and a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and finance from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
