The price of food waste in the United States.

Americans waste about $408 billion in food each year, but the most serious consequences of food waste are not economic. Methane gas pollution from landfills accounts for about 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Today we are reviewing food waste. How to get around it and the steps local and central governments in the United States are taking to fix the problem.
